We crossed the border back into the USA just before midnight on Saturday and arrived in Portland at noon on Saturday. Megan's dad, David, is in the hosital here in Portland after undergoing surgery to remove a tumor on Thursday, so we headed straight to the hospital to see him and have spent most of our time there. I will post our day 5 recap soon.

You can't leave me hanging like that. I check this blog everyday to find out what's going on. It's been 5 days already! What's going on? Is it that uneventful in the contiguous US?
